Sodwana Bay, is one of the world's most popular diving destinations. The colorful reefs are among the oldest in the world and offer an impressive amount of marine life, with over 1,200 documented fish species. The diving is varied and vibrant, with everything from dense schools of tropical fish to larger species such as Sharks, Manta Rays and Turtles. The many dive sites in the area provide great variety and mean that every dive offers new impressions and experiences.

During different parts of the year you may be lucky enough to see Whale Sharks, Humpback Whales and Sand Tiger Sharks, which adds an extra dimension to diving and makes every diving day exciting and unpredictable.

Even above the surface, Sodwana Bay offers strong natural experiences, where the interaction between sea, beach and coastal environment characterizes the entire stay.

On land you will find a small and relaxed coastal village where diving is the focus. Trip Leader

Your guide and host for this adventure is Shaun Humphries. Originally from South Africa, Shaun has spent decades exploring, diving and tracking wildlife throughout the region. With more than 25 years of professional diving experience, he brings extensive knowledge of both marine and terrestrial ecosystems, along with a deep connection to the landscapes, wildlife, and cultures that make Southern Africa unique.

More than just a guide, Shaun serves as a local ambassador, sharing insights and experiences that go beyond the typical tourist perspective. His goal is to help guests experience South Africa through the eyes of someone who has lived, worked and explored there for much of his life.
