Who We Are

We are a team of experienced ocean and dive professionals with a passion for adventure on, in and beneath the water.

We specialise in scuba diving, while also exploring the wider world of ocean adventure, from remote coastlines and islands to marine wildlife encounters, expeditions and unique experiences above and below the surface.

Our aim is simple, to help people experience the ocean in a way that goes beyond the ordinary, combining our knowledge of diving and the marine environment with a genuine love of exploration.

We’re not a traditional travel agent and we’re not here to sell you a package holiday.

We run a small number of carefully chosen trips each year, focusing on places that offer something a little different, often a little further off the beaten track, a little less predictable and a lot more adventurous than the usual resort experience.

Every trip is built around people we know and trust. We work directly with local operators, without layers of middlemen and our guides bring years of experience and genuine local knowledge to every destination. They know the dive sites, the conditions, the people and just as importantly, the places most visitors never get to see.

And when we do visit somewhere well known, we don't simply follow the usual itinerary. We look beyond the obvious sites and let our guides show you the hidden corners, lesser known spots and local experiences that make a destination truly worth exploring.

For us, it's not about ticking destinations off a list. It's about getting into the water, meeting the right people, discovering somewhere properly and sharing the experience with a small group of like minded divers.

    Sodwana Bay sits inside the boundaries of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a protected UNESCO World Heritage site. Swept by the warm, high-clarity waters of the Indian Ocean, this reef system is home to over 1,200 species of fish, Turtles, Rays and passing Pelagics. Dives here are active, starting with adrenaline-pumping surf launches in custom rigid-hulled inflatable boats.

    Shark Diving, South Africa.

    This isn't a relaxed reef crawl, it’s a high-energy expedition for divers who want to be right in the mix with the big stuff. We’re heading to the wild coast of South Africa to dive two of the most legendary shark spots on the planet, Protea Banks and Aliwal Shoal. No cages, no fluff, just sharks and the ocean.

    We don't do "one and done." Multiple dives per day mean you’ll see the full spectrum of Coiba, from massive schools of jacks and snappers to Sharks, Rays and the occasional Whale Shark. We’re here to be underwater, not sitting on the dock. Forget the long, daily boat hauls from the mainland. We stay right where the action is. By staying near the park, we maximize your bottom time and minimize the commute. Dive, eat, sleep, repeat.

    Dive on one of the most amazing reef complexes in the world while contributing to marine research. Instead of going on a trip to work full time, enjoy this combination program of volunteering and a vacation! As a certified diver, you’ll be in the water five days a week contributing to our Nudibranch monitoring project. You'll collect photographic data, help track Sodwana’s reef biodiversity and play a vital part in protecting this ecosystem from the impacts of climate change.
